At the heart of it all is Tammy, a planner, producer, and steady presence who believes weddings are more than events. They are sacred moments, lifelong memories, and stories worth telling beautifully.
Tammy’s Story
A Night to Remember didn’t happen overnight.
Tammy has been part of the West Texas wedding community since 1990. After earning her Business Management degree from Texas Tech University, she became co-owner of Music to the Maxx, a wedding DJ and entertainment service. Weekend after weekend, she witnessed the same thing: brides overwhelmed, mothers stressed, vendors unsure who was in charge, and beautiful days overshadowed by unnecessary chaos.
As Tammy and her husband attended national wedding conferences year after year, one truth became impossible to ignore, West Texas needed a true, professional wedding planner. Someone trained to lead the day with confidence, organization, and care.

In 2008, Tammy earned her Wedding Planner Certification through Weddings Beautiful Worldwide, turning years of hands-on experience into a clear calling. That certification marked the beginning of A Night to Remember, a planning company designed to bring calm to the chaos and allow couples and families to truly be present on the most important day of their lives.
That calling was further strengthened in 2010 when Tammy and her husband became the owners of Lubbock’s annual January Bridal Showcase through Showcase Productions. The relationships built through this event, with trusted vendors, venues, and wedding professionals, became an invaluable foundation for creating seamless, well-connected celebrations.
For Tammy, weddings are more than timelines and logistics. A wedding day represents the happiest moment in a couple’s life up to that point, a sacred exchange of vows before God, family, and friends. Witnessing those moments affirms what she’s always known: this isn’t just her career, it’s her purpose.
Rooted in Community & Industry Leadership
Serving others has always been part of Tammy’s heart, both within the wedding industry and beyond it.
She is an active Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, participating in ribbon cuttings and community events, and a member of the Women’s Executive Forum. Tammy also serves on the Board of Directors for The Morris Safe House, always making time to support causes close to her heart, including caring for animals in need.
Within the wedding industry, Tammy has been elected to multiple executive offices and has served on the Board of Directors for the Bridal Service Associates. This work helps elevate standards across the industry and ensures better experiences not only for today’s couples, but for every bride to come.
